Skiarena Berwang

This family-friendly ski area with 36 kilometers of slopes is ideal for families and recreational skiers. Thanks to the altitude of 1,300 meters, there is always snow. Every Thursday, night owls can enjoy skiing under artificial light, and tobogganing enthusiasts can also have fun both day and night.

Ski school Berwang

At Berwang Ski School, both beginners and advanced skiers receive excellent instruction. Children love the help of the penguin BOBO. Lessons take place from Sunday to Friday, and on Thursday there is a legendary ski competition with medals and certificates. Skiing is only truly fun when you do it together in small groups!

Off-piste

The winter hiking trails in Berwang have been cleared, and some are even accessible with a stroller. For some tours, you can use the Berwang ski lifts to go up, while others lead you through the snow-covered landscape in the valley.

Cross-country skiers have free access to more than 110 groomed trails – both classic and skating – in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. The trails in the Berwang-Bichlbach region start at the valley station of the Almkopf cable car in Bichlbach or at the valley stations of the Mooslift and Thanellerkarlift in Berwang. The trails are also accessible from the parking lot of the Panoramabahn Rastkopf cable car. For professional assistance, you can visit the Berwang ski school.

Ice skating and curling are possible on the natural ice rink in Bichlbach, right next to the Sonnenbichl lift. It is open on Thursdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM. Skates can be rented at the Sportalm.
